What changes with a magwell?

• Speed & consistency: the widened mouth guides the magazine and cuts fumbles under pressure.
• Positive seating: cleaner, more repeatable lock-up on closed-slide reloads.
• Balance: added mass at the grip helps calm muzzle movement between shots.

Pair with the right parts

• Use short grips for CZ 75B (long grips won’t clear the funnel).
• Choose magwell-compatible base pads for flush seating and, model-dependent

Materials

• Aluminum: light, rigid, many finishes—balanced for training and carry.
• Brass: heaviest; maximizes rearward weight for flat, repeatable tracking.

Install & rules

Magwells typically bolt to the 75B frame. After fitting short grips and compatible base pads, function-test reloads and lock-back. If you compete, confirm box/weight/mag length compliance for your division.
